This is a part of our Scottish Motorsport Heroes series. Sir Jackie Stewart is a three-time Formula 1 world champion, having won the drivers' title in 1969, '71 and '73. He was an advocate for safety in F1, and changed the face of the sport, but he was also incredibly fast at one of the most dangerous circuits. He won numerous times at the Nürburgring Nordschleife (where cars would leave the ground several times during a lap).
