Paul Bracey – 1985 Land Rover
Paul's Land Rover finished third overall in the 1986 Camel Trophy – a 3218km event that crossed northern Australia, from Cooktown to Darwin, in 13 days.

David Barnett – 1953 Jaguar XK120
This was Jaguar's 1953 Geneva Motor Show car and was then bought by a Richard Burton. David manages about 5000 miles a year in it these days.

Jean Flint – 1975 Peugeot 304S
Jean has been a great supporter of Bacon and Brakes since the start, and covers 1000s of miles in this, as well as her Defender.

Wally Bain – 1978 Citroën 2CV
Wally bought his 2CV 42 years ago in order to go to St Tropez with his late brother who had leukaemia. It was the last holiday his brother would go on.

Scott Hamilton – 1993 Marlin Berlinetta
Scott bought the car as a kit in 1993 and ran it until 2000. He rebuilt it and replaced the Rover V8 with a Vauxhall red top.

Graham Armstrong – 1959 Edsel Ranger
Graham has done plenty of work on the 4.8-litre monster and has driven 10,000 miles in it in less than four years! He also organises Classics Against Cancer.

Ross Bowring – 1930 Austin 7
Ross was in the middle of a "rolling restoration" of the Austin 7, but was still using it as much as he could, even doing some rallies in it.

Brian Hume – 1959 Jaguar Mk. 9
Brian's Mk. 9 wasn’t in great condition when he bought it 25 years ago, but he’s gradually brought it back it to its former glory.

Alf Burgess – 1937 Armstrong Siddeley 14hp
The car was originally delivered to its first owner on 6 May, 1937. Alf’s uncle purchased the car in 1954 before Alf’s father bought it in 1960.

Peter Young – 1960 Daimler Dart
Peter has done an enormous number of driving tours in his Daimler and has covered well over 150,000 miles in it since he bought the car in 1989.

Bruce Lindsay – 1954 Austin Healey
The car was owned by Bruce’s father, and he rebuilt it from a pile of pieces in the 1980s. It took him 10 years to do and still it oozes patina.

George Ogg – 1957 Moto Guzzi 500 Falcone
Our first motorcycle winner, George uses his Falcone regularly. He’s got a soft spot for it with its quirkiness, exposed flywheel, and upside-down forks.

Allan Crow – 1976 Land Rover 101 Forward Control
Allan bought this 101 11 years ago and has done an enormous number of miles in it. He even uses it to tow his trials Tomcat!

John Kinmond – 1972 Ford F350 and 1973 Pantera
John came all the way from Fraserburgh in his F350 with his racing Pantera on the back of it. He even started the latter up – it sounded fantastic.

Steve Bryant – 1963 Ford Galaxie
Previous winner John chose Steve's fantastic '63 Galaxie before he took it out on the first Bacon and Brakes grass Autotest (he won his class!).

Jean-Lou Rihon – 1989 Arrows A11
It was hard not to award Best in Show to the ex-Eddie Cheever Arrows A11 that Jean-Lou so kindly lent us for the weekend. What a noise it makes!

Dundee Transport Museum’s trustee Graeme Keillor's 1986 Mini Piccadilly is one of only 50 still registered and the car is immaculate.

Craig's pickup is stunning, and much of the work he did himself, from the leather upholstery to the timber inlay on the back.

Shaun Atkinson– 1983 Bedford Mountain TK fire engine
This was our second fire engine at Bacon and Brakes. Thankfully, this time, nothing was on fire! Shaun's owned this for four years gets out in it quite a lot.
